Technical Specifications

All work may be emailed to submit@magnusmagazine.co.uk

Any work which is supplied will be subject to the submission agreement.

To submit simply email your work to the above address. Please name any files you submit with the title of the work. If you wish to include a description of the work, write it in the email under the heading of the file which it relates to.

A maximum of five pieces of work per submitter will be accepted. Each piece may be made up of as many files as necessary (i.e. if a piece of work is made up of 3 photos, they may be displayed and count as one piece of work). If you wish to submit more than this, or have any other queries then please contact us at magnusmagazine@gmail.com and we will try and come to an arrangement.

The following types of work will be accepted:

Animation, Illustration, Painting, Drawing, Manga, Photography, Comic Strips, Glasswork, Graffiti, Product Design, Jewellery, Knitwear, Textiles, Fashion, Metal Work, Silversmithing, Woodwork, Installations, Sculpture, Poetry, Creative Writing, Blogs, Scripts, Feature's Journalism, Music Video's, Web Design, Visual Effects, Podcasts, Film and Music

All pictures supplied must be high resolution, and at least 500 pixels by 500 pixels. Pictures will be resized to fit a 600 pixel by 600 pixel box, so if your picture is larger than it will be scaled down so that the longer axis (height or width) is 600 pixels.

If the work is a physical piece, then a digital photo of it will be accepted. We recommend taking several photos and sending us the best one.

For written work, please note that we recommend approximately 600 words per page, however as much as you wish may be displayed on one page. Written pieces may be supplied as plain text for us to format, or if you wish you may format it yourself and we will replicate it online. Text must not be below size 8.

Music submitted will be streamed from the site and not downloadable. Music files should be provided in MP3, WMA or AAC format and with at least 128kbps bitrate.

Exe files will never be accepted. If you are providing a flash file please send in the swf, rather than publish an exe.

Submissions may be connected to a profile, or made anonymously. If you submit anonymously, then you will be given a number, and will be referred to as 'Anon' then the number on Magnus.

You may also include a passport sized photo of yourself, which will be included with your profile.
