Guardian Angel

It’s your smile and your laugh that get me through these tough times 

Whenever I need you I gently shut my eyes and see you there

The smile on your face makes my eyes light up

I’ve never seen anyone quite so special as you 

Sometimes life gets really bad and you just want out

But when your around it’s not like that

You change my view on things, make me see the point

Stop me from giving up during the night 

If only every one was as lucky as I am know

To have a guardian angel like you to watch and protect me

You lift me up in your angelic fold of wings

Take me away and up and away. To safe, secret place 

But I ain’t going to heaven, well not yet anyway

But I have seen an angel, and it’s her face

That always pops into my mind, when I’m hurt or in pain
